Galgos in Spain

In Spain Galgos (Spanish greyhounds) are used for the hunt which lasts from September to end of January. During this time the Galgos are raced across the countryside for miles without food or medical treatment. At the end of the season the dogs are worn out and useless for the hunters. There are already new whelps growing up for the next hunting season, and the "used" Galgos are killed in a barbarous way.
